Pellet Mill and Biomass Wood Pellets

Wood pellets and biomass pellets are a compressed form of their original raw material in a mill. Currently wood fuel pellets are created from sawmill timber processing residue. Other biomass fuel pellets can be made from straws and grasses, energy crops and any other wood residue. Through compression in a pellet mill, pellets have a uniform size, shape and density. Along with their low moisture content means they are a highly efficient fuel which can be easily used in automatic combustion systems such as wood pellet stoves and pellet boilers.
