Options For Large Scale Wood and Biomass Pellet Production

You maybe looking for a large scale pellet production plant to produce wood pellets, other biomass pellets, animal feeds or for some other pelleted product. When it comes to producing pellets on such a scale, the source of your raw material and the location of your customer are of paramount importance. To make a pellet plant as profitable as possible you want to place the plant between your raw material and customer. A good example of this would be wood pellet plants set up to provide power stations. The simple reason why the location of the pellet plant is so important is the costs of transportation have never been higher, and they will continue to rise. Biomass and wood in its raw form has a low density, and therefore is very expensive to transport to the pellet plant. Therefore you need a good local supply of raw material. However the supply may run dry in the future, so what then? Well the best option is to be able to move the large scale pellet plant to a new location closer to the raw material. Now with conventional large scale pellet plants this is very difficult as each piece of equipment for example the hammer mill and pellet mill is installed individually. The whole infrastructure of the pellet plant is a maze, and to move the pellet plant is simply not viable. However we do provide a better option with the modular pellet plant. Each part of the process, size reduction, drying, pellet compression etc is housed in its own module. These modules are in a heavy duty steal frame box that can be picked up with a fork lift and also fit perfectly into a shipping container. Once on site at the new location its simple a case of staking modules one on top of another. Therefore this is a large scale portable pellet plant. The productivity of this pellet plant can be from just 2 tons per hour up to 50 or more tonnes per hour if required by adding more modules. We can also help you with a smaller scale pellet plant to produce wood pellets or biomass pellets if you require. On the next page please enter your email details for more information.
